MILITARY STAR Cardholders Get Double the Value on Dec. 24

DALLAS MILITARY STAR card shoppers will get double the bang for their holiday buck with double rewards points on Dec. 24.

The military exchanges' retail card, which typically earns cardholders 2 points for every $1, will earn last-minute shoppers 4 points per $1 on every present and purchase made at Army & Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard exchange locations. Shoppers automatically receive a $20 rewards card every 2,000 points.

"There's always so much to do at the last minute during the holidayschecking off final items on wishlists, decorating the house, preparing to see family and friends," said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, the Exchange's senior enlisted advisor. "MILITARY STAR is giving a little bonus during all the excitement that will help service members and their families earn rewards even faster."

Shoppers who do not have a MILITARY STAR card can sign up at any exchange or online at MyECP.com and save 10 percent on all purchases made the first day.

MILITARY STAR is administered by the Army & Air Force Exchange Service. Other benefits of the card include:

The lowest flat-rate APR (12.24 percent) among store cardsrate is offered to all cardholders.
No annual, late or over-limit fees.
Reduced interest deployment plan with no payments required for eligible customers.
