49th Maintenance Group
The 49th Maintenance Group maintains aircraft, propulsion, avionics and accessory systems for the F-22A Raptor. The group directs all maintenance qualification, on-the-job and ancillary training for over 1K people and manages over $5.5 billion in aircraft and equipment. The 49th MXG supports flying activities, exercises and worldwide tasks as assigned by the warfighting theater commanders and the Secretary of Defense against high value, heavily defended targets.

49th Maintenance Operations Squadron
The 49th Maintenance Operations Squadron is directly responsible for the administration, analysis, training management and programs and resources necessary to support the group's flying mission production effort. The squadron's main areas of responsibility are coordination, command and control, plans and scheduling and analysis. The 49 MOS manages the 49th MXG's operational training and contingency tasks for over 600 personnel and provides engine management for all UAV, T-38 and F-22A aircraft. The squadron also manages quality assurance, weapons standardization, manpower, facility, computer and awards programs for the squadron and group plus oversight as quality assurance evaluator on a $15.7 million T-38 maintenance contract with DynCorp.

49th Maintenance Squadron
The 49th Maintenance Squadron provides safe, reliable and timely repair of on- and off-aircraft equipment systems for all assigned F-22A and T-38 aircraft. Performs F-22A low-observable maintenance, repairs aerospace ground equipment and fixes propulsion, egress and fuels systems. Calibrates precision measurement equipment for the 49th Fighter Wing plus customers command-wide and manages munitions stockpiles. Supports the German Air Force, NASA and various tenant units.

49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
The 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron is responsible for F-22A sortie generation through two aircraft maintenance units that support the missions of the 7th and 8th Fighter Squadrons. Members of the squadrons provide aircraft general systems, avionics repair, load munitions and conduct end of runway aircraft inspections. The 49 AMXS supports the warfighting theater commander and the Secretary of Defense by providing a low profile solution in neutralizing high value, heavily defended targets.
