The Langley Bowling Center offers entertainment for the entire family plus intramural and league bowling. They also host a Pro Shop, a small eatery and cosmic bowling. Birthday party packages are also available. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, noon to midnight; Sunday, noon to 11 p.m.

Langley has two sprawling 18-hole golf courses, a driving range, putting greens and a pro shop with the latest golfing equipment and clothing apparel. The Eaglewood Golf Course also hosts a Grille that serves breakfast and daily lunch specials. Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Bateman Library offers conference rooms, children and teen rooms, research units, interlibrary loans and much more for readers. The Bateman Library throughout the year provides special promotions and theatrical play productions for various age groups. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday through Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.; closed on holidays.

Bethel Park

Bethel Park, adjacent to the Bethel housing area, is one of Langley's best-kept secrets. The beautiful scenic area is surrounded by water and is perfect for outdoor relaxation. Bethel Park offers pavilions, fishing equipment, ball fields, paddle boats, barbecue grills, volleyball and equipment rental.

Eagle Park

Eagle Park is located on main base across from the Bowling Center and is ideal for family gatherings, squadron events, entertainment, sports days and special live entertainment. The park offers pavilions with grills, tennis courts, creative playground equipment and volleyball area.

FamCamp

The Langley FamCamp has 22 recreational vehicle sites with electric and water hookups, as well as eight primitive tent sites open to eligible users. Restrooms, showers and laundry facilities are on the premises. A dump station is also accessible for FamCamp residents. The FamCamp is located off base behind the Bethel Park recreational area off of Saunders Road.

The Marina

Offering ship docking and rentals, the Marina is the place to go for all of your water sports enjoyment. Visit the "Harbor Q" snack bar for lunch. The menu selections are fish and crab cakes, chicken salad, tuna, hotdogs and chili. Specialty soups are available in season. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Snack bar hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Paintball

The paintball course is located at Bethel Park on Big Bethel Road. All materials needed are available for rent. You are permitted and encouraged to bring your own materials. The paintball packages include masks, markers, rounds, field fees and allday air.

Sports and Fitness Centers
The award winning Langley fitness centers are equipped with state-of -the art equipment, basketball and racquetball courts, indoor pools, indoor track, cardio theater rooms and the "Power Blendz" juice bar specializing in nutritional beverages, salads, sandwiches and multi-vitamins.

In addition, the facility includes a steam room and sauna. Locker and shower facilities are available. Aerobics classes are available daily along with cycling, yoga and aquacise and water walking classes. An added addition is the Family Fitness Room. You can supervise your own child while working out.

Whether you are looking for hang gliding, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, canoeing, hiking, scuba diving, snow-skiing trips or biking, the Outdoor Recreation Complex offers a wide variety of activities. The complex has a variety of boat, camp, sports and lawn equipment items available for loan/rental at nominal fees. The Equipment Rental Center also manages a snow ski and snowboard tune-up service, garden plots, hunting and fishing license and recreational vehicle storage areas at low fees. Rug doctor steamers and cleaners are also available for rental.
