Scott Air Force Base | 375th Communications Group
The 375th Communications Group enables combat power for the 375th AMW in its global reach mission by providing command, control, communications and computer support to DoD, USTRANSCOM, AMC, 18 AF, 618 TACC, SDDC, AFNIC, three flying wings and 66 associate units.

The group consists of two squadrons and a direct-reporting flight with more than 600 military and civilian personnel who help direct, control and enhance the command and control capabilities supporting the 618th Tanker Airlift Control Center global mission and area of responsibility. The two squadrons are 375th Communications Squadron and 375th Communications Support Squadron and the Plans and Resources Flight is direct reporting flight.

The 375th Communications Squadron enables combat power by providing command, control, communications, and computer (C4) systems utilized by local units located at Scott Air Force Base. The communications squadron is comprised of three flights: The Operations Flight (SCO) directs and controls communications, computer and information management capabilities supporting the AMC mission on Scott. One of the most visible portions of SCO is the Consolidated Client Support Administrator (CSA) Help Desk. The Consolidated CSA Helpdesk provides level-one technical support for Scott customers. The helpdesk is here to provide technical assistance ranging from account setup to hardware issues. SCO maintains all air traffic control and landing systems, ground radio, and base weather equipment, Military Strategic and Tactical Relay Satellite systems, secure communications systems, C2 circuits, base telephone switch and associated equipment, base telecommunications cable infrastructure, and all unclassified (NIPRNet) and classified (SIPRNet) data networks. SCO provides base switchboard operations and land mobile radio and cellular telephone equipment management.

The 618th Tanker Airlift Control Center (TACC) IT Operations Support Flight (SCP) directs and controls communications and computer capabilities supporting the 618 TACC mission. SCP provides exclusive, 24-hour C4I support for more than 1,200 customers across the 618 TACC. The Systems Support Helpdesk is the first look communications and computer support for 618 TACC personnel and coordinates scheduled maintenance requests as it impacts the 618 TACC mission. SCP Radio Operations provides 24-hour UHF SATCOM, Combat Tracker II and IG/Exercise support as well as basic telephone troubleshooting for TACC customers.

The USTRANSCOM Support Flight (SCU) manages day to day O&M for the USTRANSCOM network which includes: Flag Support, PC maintenance, ADPE warehouse, Help Desk, infrastructure maintenance, information protection, Unclassified Office Information System (UOIS) and Classified Office Information Systems (COIS). SCU is also responsible for network infrastructure equipment, components, and cabling that transports data connectivity for USTRANSCOM.

The 375th Communications Support Squadron enables combat power by providing 24/7 situational awareness and monitoring of command, control, communications, and computer (C4) systems utilized by DoD, USTRANSCOM, AMC, 18 AF, 618 TACC and subordinate units. They manage and administer AMC's computer security and information assurance programs. They also develop network applications and automated processes for AMC. The squadron is comprised of five flights:

The Information Assurance Flight (SCC) manages and administers the COMSEC and EMSEC programs for AMC while also providing guidance and direction to AMC on certification and accreditation of information systems and networks.

The Software Engineering Flight (SCE) develops software applications for AMC customers that speed decision making and get personnel and cargo to their destination more rapidly.

The MAJCOM/Air Forces Communication Coordination Center Flight (SCM) provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week command and control of AMC's network encompassing 11 bases, 18 C2 systems in more than 150 locations and critical assets throughout the world in support of AMC's global mission. They serve as the single communications coordination focal point for all of AMC.

The Mobility Systems Flight (SCO) provides world-class operations and maintenance support for the Global Command and Control System, Global Support System, AMC Deployment Analysis System, Consolidated Air Mobility Planning System, Command and Control Information Processing System and AMC Transportation systems.

The Software Verification Flight (SCV) conducts quality assurance testing for all systems and software developed in 375th CSPTS and government acceptance testing for the Global Air Transportation Execution System. Through their efforts they ensure these products meet the set standards of accuracy, reliability, interoperability and security.

The Plans and Resources Flight enables combat power by managing the application, acquisition and implementation of C4 requirements for DoD, USTRANSCOM, AMC 18 AF and worldwide ports. They manage all budget requirements, plans and execution for the group. They also maintain and develop plans for training, security strategy and the deployment process for all group personnel.
