The application must be submitted on DD Form 1746. Call the Whiteman AFB Housing Office at (660) 687-4418 prior to arrival for more details.

Make reservations as soon as possible to ensure you have accommodations for you and your family. Reservations location: 325 Mitchell Ave., commercial 687-1844, 24-hour operation.

Ridgeview was built in 2000 and is primarily for junior non-commissioned Airmen. The units have two, three and four bedrooms. Another community, commonly referred to as Ridgeview 2, is also for junior NCOs, and is to be completed soon. On the south side of the base, in the lakeside area, housing units are being torn down in stages to make room for new facilities for senior NCOs and officers. Please be sure to check with the housing office early during in-processing. The staff knows of current on-base housing availability. They also are knowledgeable about off-base lease agreements.

For information about housing on any base, go to the Air Force portal on a Department of Defense computer, click on life matters, and look for the desired community.
