American Red Cross
Red Cross services and programs are provided to military members and their families assigned to Fort Bragg and Pope AFB. The office is headquartered in Building 1-1139 on the corner of Macomb and Hamilton Street.

One of the main services available is assistance with communications or reporting. Red Cross can help verify an emergency situation. This is especially critical during times of deployments. Soldiers should ensure that their family members both here in the local area and back home have their complete military address. For assistance call (877) 272-7337 anytime.

Classes in CPR, first aid, baby-sitting and water safety are also available through our office. For information on class schedules, call (910) 396-7815.

Red Cross has an active volunteer program, with an average of 300 volunteers providing over 6,000 hours of service monthly. Volunteers are needed to assist at Womack Army Medical Center, all clinics, the Red Cross office and for many leadership roles. Red Cross training partnerships are available through the Dental Assistant Program and the Medical Assistant Program. Civilian Personnel Advisory Center
The Civilian Personnel Advisory Center is one of three offices of the Installation Business Office. The CPAC provides services to more than 5,000 civilians who occupy positions in offices, maintenance shops, medical and dental clinics, hospital, club systems and many other areas on the post. The regional Civilian Personnel Operations Center located at Huntsville, Ala., supports the local Fort Bragg CPAC by providing administrative services such as issuing job announcements, rating applications, processing personnel actions and maintaining official personnel folders for appropriated fund positions. The CPAC provides advisory services and information on appropriated and non appropriated fund recruitment, placement, classification, labor relations, employee benefits, awards and other types of personnel management related issues. Employment practices are based solely on merit and fitness without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin or any other non-merit factor. The Labor Management Office promotes good relations between management and labor organizations in an effort to provide a positive work atmosphere leading to optimum productivity. This office provides advice and assistance to the civilian workforce concerning grievances, disciplinary actions, appeals, negotiated agreements and personnel matters relating to conditions of employment. In addition, this office processes awards and manages the injury compensation program, which provides benefits to federal employees for disability due to personal injury or disease sustained on the job. The Human Resource Management Center
provides advice and assistance to supervisors and managers concerning personnel staffing, classification, position management and other personnel management services to support XVIII Airborne Corps and the Garrison Command and approximately 29 tenant activities. This office counsels and registers eligible family members in the DoD Priority Placement Program. The Center conducts inprocessing for newly hired civilian employees; administers benefits, entitlements and the customer service pay function; and manages the civilian job information services by providing customers with employment information, forms and application procedures for appropriated and non-appropriated fund vacancies. A personnel team is also located at WAMC to support the personnel needs of the hospital. This team serves as a satellite personnel office by providing advice and assistance to the management team and employees on staffing and recruitment, job information, classification and position management, benefits and in-processing and disciplinary actions, grievances and appeals. The Non Appropriated Fund Office provides personnel services for non-appropriated fund activities. This office is located in Building 2-1515 on Jackson Street. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information, call (910) 396-8933.

Clothing Sales
The Army Military Clothing Sales Store is located in the center of the Mini-Mall at the corner of Reilly and Bastogne Street. The AMCSS is operated by the Army and the Air Force Exchange Service. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The AMCSS sells both Defense Service Center supply items and commercial items produced by AAFES. The AAMCSS supports all military units on Fort Bragg, including the U.S. Army Reserve, National Guard and Reserve Officers Training Corps units.

Commissary
The Fort Bragg Commissary System has two stores which include the newest and largest in the world, Fort Bragg South Post, located at the William G. Hefner Shopping Plaza at Reilly Street and Canopy Lane. The store shares the mall with the AAFES exchange, food court and First Citizens Bank. South Post is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Early Bird shopping for 15 items or less is open to our customers 9:30 a.m. daily. The North Post Commissary, located at the corner of Butner Road and Bragg Boulevard, is almost as large as its newest sister store. It is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Handicap and Early Bird shopping begins at 8:30 a.m. For more information, call (910) 396-7213.

Credit Unions
Fort Bragg has several credit unions locations, for Soldiers and for DoD civilians. The credit unions offer substantial dividends on saving and low interest rates on loans. The "once a member, always a member," concept applies to both credit unions.

Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union is open to active duty, reserve and retired military, anyone who regularly works on Fort Bragg, AUSA members of the Braxton-Bragg chapter, as well as their family members and dependents. Also, family members of current Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union members can join. Branch locations include Bastogne Drive, Building 3871 (across from the Delmont House) and William G. Hefner Shopping Plaza at South Post Mall, both on Fort Bragg. The Fayetteville branches are located at 1638 Skibo Road, 6300 Ramsey St. and 7840 Raeford Road. Branches are open Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, Friday and military paydays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Drive-thru service is open paydays, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Over 30 automated teller machines are available 24/7 throughout the post and in Fayetteville with free service to members using a Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union card.

Bragg Mutual Federal Credit Union is open to civilian service employees, non-appropriated fund employees and their families. Contractors and employees of contractors and military Soldiers at Fort Bragg are welcome.
Branch locations are located at 219 N. Main St., Spring Lake; 2917 Village Drive R. C. Williams Building, Fayetteville and 5770 Rockfish Road, Hope Mills. Contact the main office, at (910) 488-3515.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Village Drive office is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Spring Lake office is also open Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Crime Prevention
The Crime Prevention Section is a public awareness and education unit that strives to improve the security of personal belongings and property on Fort Bragg. Crime prevention seminars, unit crime prevention classes, home security surveys and prevention guidance through the local media are a few of the services provided to Soldiers, their families and civilian employees on post. The Crime Prevention Section also works with on-post housing areas by providing the residents with programs on community safety and security.

The Crime Prevention operates a 24-hour CRIMESTOPPER line at (910) 396-EYES. This tip line is an anonymous method for persons with information about criminal activity to report it. Defense Reutilization and Marketing The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office supports units on Fort Bragg in the disposal of surplus property. Authorized recipients may withdraw needed items of surplus property and scrap.

Surplus property is offered for sale to the general public through national sales. Information and catalogues listing surplus property for sale are available at the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office, Building J-1334, Knox Street. Dial 6-BOSS
Dial 6-Boss ((910) 396-2677) responds to questions, complaints or ideas from Soldiers and civilians on Fort Bragg and the surrounding community. Each caller receives a personal reply. Dial 6-BOSS is not a substitute for the chain of command. It is not a substitute for the commander's open-door policy or a collection agency for creditors. Exhaust these channels before calling 6-BOSS. When calling, give your full name (spell your last name), Social Security number, phone number and home or duty address. Without this information the call will not be answered.

Domestic Action
A wealth of expertise and diversified skills at Fort Bragg are freely shared with local communities. This takes place in two programs— individual volunteerism and a formal program. Soldiers who volunteer provide needed assistance to agencies or activities dedicated to community services.

The command recognizes and encourages Soldiers who volunteer their free time to organizations like the American Red Cross and Special Olympics. A formal command-sponsored policy provides local civilian communities with skilled assistance on various projects approved as worthwhile "off-post" training opportunities.

Leader Development Center
The Leader Development Center develops, coordinates, markets and provides training for the Fort Bragg federal workforce. The training is directed to the professional development of Soldiers and civilians in leader development, quality, team Building, customer service, change management and other courses as required. LDC has a resource library which is open to Soldiers and the Fort Bragg civilian workforce to use.

Equal Employment Opportunity
The Equal Employment Opportunity Officer advises and assists the commander and staff on matters pertaining to federal civilian equal employment opportunities and practices. The Equal Employment Opportunity Office monitors the civilian workforce to ensure compliance with Title VII law to eliminate discrimination. The EEO supervises the implementation and management of the Affirmative Employment Program, the Special Emphasis Programs, the Individuals with Disabilities Program Plan and the Discrimination Complaint Program. The EEO staff provides administrative support to the Department of Defense, Office of Complaint Investigations and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The Fort Bragg/Pope Air Force Base Exchange is one of the largest exchange systems in the world with 22 retail, 29 food and 55 concession operations. There are two Main PX/BX Malls offering full retail assortments for the entire family as well as food courts and numerous service concessions. North Post Mall located on Butner Road and South Post Mall located on Canopy Lane open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Mini Mall on Reilly Road includes the Army Military Clothing and Sales Store, Sports Store, Furniture Store and Shoppette. Starbucks Coffee operates Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The food court includes Robin Hood, Anthony's Pizza, Charley's Steakery, Greek Odyssey and Manchu Wok.

Services
Concessions include Motor Cycle Shop, Laundry/Dry Cleaning, Alterations, Laundromat, Car Rental, Gift Shop, UPS and Cyberzone. Most activities operate Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A 24 hour Shoppette is available in the Smoke Bomb Hill area and located on the corner of Reilly Street and Gruber Road. The Car Care Center offers quick lube, oil changes, tire sales and services and a variety of automotive items. Gas service is available 24 hours. Burger King provides 24 hour drive-thru, Godfather's Pizza, Captain D's Seafood and a KFC round out the services at Smoke Bomb Hill.

Butner Road Mini Mall is the newest mall which includes a Shoppette, Class Six, 24 hour gas available, Barber Shop, Car Rental and Papa John's Pizza for Delivery call (910) 495-0309. The Airborne PX located in the 82nd Airborne Division on Ardennes Street operates seven days a week. This Troop Mall includes a Retail Store, Food Court with Taco Bell, Anthony's Pizza, Robin Hood Deli, Charley's Steakery, Dunkin Donuts, Barber Shop, Cyberzone and Espresso. There are two Theaters that operate Friday through Sunday. York Theater located on Ardennes Street and Pope Theater located on Virgin Street. Family Advocacy Program
The Family Advocacy Program in the Community Center is dedicated to the prompt intervention, treatment and prevention of spouse and child abuse. The program is further dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for military and family members by offering classes, workshops and seminars to prepare for and assist in relieving the pressure and stress of military life. The Family Advocacy Program is prepared to assist commanders in ensuring unit, Soldier and family readiness.

Classes, workshops and seminars are available to military units, family member groups or a combination of the two.Programs can be conducted at any location deemed appropriate by the command and the Family Advocacy staff. Family Housing Maintenance
Maintenance of family housing is provided by contract and all housing areas are serviced by a commercial contractor. Calls for routine service should be placed Monday through Friday (except for federal holidays), 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Emergency work orders can be placed at all times. Special arrangements can be made for deployed residents.

The Directorate of Public Works and Environment also provides refuse collection, grounds maintenance in common areas, insect/pest control and fire prevention to family housing residents.

The DPWE Customer Service Center provides a "one stop" system for customers. For more information, call (910) 396-4520. Financial Services
The 126th Finance Battalion (Airborne) and the 82nd Soldier Support Battalion provide finance support and service to Soldiers assigned to Fort Bragg. These battalions offers service at various locations on the installation and are prepared to provide finance support to deployed Soldiers worldwide.

The 126th Finance Battalion has two Customer Service Centers located above First Citizens Bank at the Mini Mall complex and Building D-2612 near the intersection of Ardennes and Zabitosky Roads. The 126th Finance Battalion services all units assigned to the XVIII Airborne Corps except the 82nd Airborne Division. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Soldiers with pay inquiries should first go to their Personnel Administration Center. The 82nd Soldier Support Battalion is located in Building C-7417 (Gavin Hall) next to Ridgeway Hall in the 82nd Airborne Division Area and serves all division Soldiers. Fire Department
The Fort Bragg Fire Department provides fire and emergency services for Fort Bragg, Simmons Army Airfield and Camp Mackall. The City of Fayetteville and local community fire departments augment Fort Bragg's capabilities. Rescue and first aid services are available throughout the installation for accidents involving buildings, vehicles, water and aircraft. Chaplain's Help Line
The Chaplain's Help Line is a 24-hour telephone number for people who need crisis counseling and referral. The Corps and Installation Chaplain's office handles calls during duty hours. After duty and weekend hours, call (910) 396-HELP.

Laundry Service
The Fort Bragg Laundry Service provides quality service to individual Soldiers at the lowest possible cost. The Post Laundry facility is located in Building 2T-5713 at the corner of Butner Road and Jackson Street.

Operating hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for all cash services and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for organizational linen. For more information, call (910) 396-2224.

Individual piece rate service is available at the laundry in lieu of payroll deduction bundle service. Next day service is available (drop off 9 a.m., pick up 4 p.m. next day) with a limit of four pieces.

Seventy-two hour service (no limit on number of pieces, family member clothing authorized) is provided, with two bundle sizes authorized. The laundry is a contractor-owned, contractor- operated facility and customers must pay in cash at time of turn-in. ID card is required to pick up items.

Legal Assistance
The Legal Assistance Office can help Soldiers, Family members and retirees in matters relating to adoption, name change, consumer rights, military administrative issues, domestic relations, civil suits, wills, power of attorney, realty and personal property laws, immigration procedures and taxes.

The XVIII Airborne Corps office services all Soldiers, Family members and retirees except those assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. Fort Bragg's new courthouse is located next to the Davis Dental Clinic at 4-1843 Normandy Street. The 12,000 square foot facility includes a court room, judge's chambers, a media filing room and office spaces for staff members and defense and prosecution teams.

Lost and Found
Found articles may be turned in to the desk sergeant at the Provost Marshal's office located in Building AT-3275 on Butner Road near Bigler Street.  Lost articles may be claimed Monday through Friday (except for federal holidays) by calling (910) 396-5566.

Management
Employee Relations
The mission of the Management Employee Relations Division is to promote good relations between management, employees and labor organizations in an effort to provide a positive work atmosphere leading to optimum productivity and employee satisfaction. This is accomplished through advice and assistance provided to the civilian workforce concerning grievances, disciplinary actions, appeals, negotiated agreements and personnel matters relating to employment conditions. The office is located in Building 2-1114 on the corner of Jackson and Macomb streets. Military Police
The Provost Marshal Office, units of the 16th Military Police Brigade, provides comprehensive law enforcement, military police and investigative support to the Fort Bragg community. The collective support program is a robust effort to ensure the safety, security and quality of life of each resident, Soldier, civilian and visitor. The importance of a viable MP support structure cannot be overstated, and the level of support-provided reflects the commands commitment to Soldiers and their families. The significant investment of MP resources to the installation is a key factor in the high quality of life and sense of security of our Army families. Military police Soldiers patrol the post day and night in radio-equipped patrol vehicles. All military police Soldiers are easily recognized by the distinct black brassard with the letters MP worn on their left shoulder. Parents are urged to tell their children that they can always get help or information from a military policeman. The PMO is the focal point for all criminal complaints and traffic investigations. The primary point of contact for all incidents is the Military Police Desk. The MP desk is a 24-hour operation and can be reached at (910) 396-0391/0392/0393.

Public Affairs
The XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg Public Affairs Office serves as the contact point for all local and national news media concerning the mission, Soldiers and civilians at Fort Bragg.

The office serves more than 100 newspapers, radio and television stations in nearby communities.  The PAO produces the Paraglide, an unofficial civilian enterprise publication compiled by the newspaper staff.

One of the Army's largest award-winning newspapers, the Paraglide is published weekly and is distributed every Thursday afternoon to family housing units, day rooms, barracks, clubs, the post exchange, commissary and other locations off post.

Television—Bragg TV, Channel 7, is a Fort Bragg cable access channel providing information and news for Army personnel, their family members and DoD civilians. An electronic bulletin board operates 24 hours a day, listing post happenings of interest to the military community. Units, family readiness groups, military-related activities and clubs are encouraged to contribute information. E-mail BraggTV@us. army.mil; call (910) 396-8055. Bragg TV writes, shoots and produces short news stories featuring Fort Bragg units. The news stories broadcast over the Soldiers Radio Television network worldwide. Religious Services
Eleven chapels are available on post for Fort Bragg Soldiers and their families. A full range of activities is offered with schedules published weekly in chapel bulletins. Chaplains are assigned to provide ministry for Soldiers and their families in every unit. The Watters Center for Family Life and Religious Education is located on the corner of Knox and Randolph streets. Named for the Medal of Honor recipient Chaplain Charles J. Watters, the center houses the Family Life Chaplain's office and the Religious Education offices. The Family Life chaplains provide family wellness programs, marriage enrichment programs and marriage and family counseling.

The Religious Education Center provides classes to help people of all ages and faiths grow in religious understanding, knowledge and service. Dedicated and skillful chaplains representing every major faith group are available to provide guidance toward spiritual fulfillment. Retirement Services
Located in the 18th Soldier Support Center Building 4-2843 on Normandy Drive. The Installation Retirement Services Office provides services to active-duty Soldiers, retirees and their family members through the Army Retirement Services Program. Retirement Services assists Soldiers and their families in making a smooth transition to civilian life.
Soldiers who have submitted an application for retirement must attend a pre-retirement briefing between the time the application is submitted, and no less than 120 days before date of retirement or date of departure on transition leave. The program is designed to continue to assist and orient Soldiers, retirees and their families on rights, benefits and privileges. The program also establishes an effective channel of communication between the active Army and retired Soldiers. Retiree Appreciation Days are conducted. At this time, special medical, dental screening and legal services are also provided.
