Installation Regulations
Vehicle and Bicycle Registrations
As required by CAM 190-5, all personnel assigned to, living on or
employed at Fort Campbell, and all personnel who frequent the installation,
must register their vehicles within 10 days of signing into
Fort Campbell. Required documentation includes: valid driver's
license, state registration and proof of insurance. Drivers are
also required to have these documents in their possession
when driving on Fort Campbell. Vehicles and bicycles can be
registered at the Gate 4 visitors' center, Building 5004. The

also be done at the Gate 7 visitors' center, Building 7199.

Motorcycle Riders
By Army Regulation, anyone who rides a motorcycle
on the installation must provide proof of completion of
a motorcycle safety training course. Basic Riders
course is offered at no cost to Soldiers, civilian employees,
retirees and family members on Fort Campbell.

Other courses available as part of the Army Traffic
Safety Training Program include an Experienced Motorcycle
course, Advanced Sports Bike course, a Motorcycle
Refresher course and various driver improvement courses.

must wear approved protective equipment at all times when
riding on or off the installation. Fort Campbell police can
issue drivers a $30 citation for violating this regulation.
Tennessee and Kentucky Drivers Licenses
New residents have 30 days after establishing residence in
either state to renew their motor vehicle license, per State Vehicle
Codes. No test is required if current out-of-state license is valid. The
Clarksville office is located at 220 West Dunbar Cave Road. It is open
Tuesday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except the 2nd Wednesday of
each month, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is closed Saturday through Monday and all

The Hopkinsville office is located at 100

Traffic Regulations
Every day the Fort Campbell Police Department
works to increase highway safety in order
to reduce deaths, injuries and economic losses
from motor vehicle crashes. Local traffic regulations
facilitate the safe flow of traffic, accident
prevention and help educate and guide vehicle
operators to respect traffic laws and safety regulations.
All motor vehicle operators should
familiarize themselves with Army Regulation
190-5, CAM Regulation 190-5 and the laws pertaining
to the states of Kentucky and Tennessee.
Law enforcement has been tremendously effective
in deterring Soldiers, family members and
guests to Fort Campbell from unsafe driving
behaviors that risk the lives of each and every
one of us living and working within our community.
All violators are subject to legal, disciplinary
and/or administrative action.
Speed Limits
Unless otherwise posted, the speed limit on
Fort Campbell is 25 mph. In other areas, speed
is limited to:
• 10 mph in parking areas and when passing
troop formations
• 20 mph in school areas
• 20 mph in housing areas
• 35 mph for tactical vehicles in rear areas
• 45 mph for non-tactical vehicles on rear
area roads
Parking
Parking privately-owned or U.S. government
vehicles on Fort Campbell's main streets is prohibited
except where such parking is authorized
by designated spaces or for service vehicles conducting
authorized business. The shoulders of
the road cannot be used for parking except for
the case of a temporarily disabled vehicle.
Weapons Registration
All privately owned weapons must be registered
on Fort Campbell at the MP Station. State
issued gun permits are not recognized.
Cell Phone Use
Hand held cell phones are not permitted to
be used when driving on Fort Campbell unless a
"hands free" device is used. Fort Campbell
police can issue drivers a $30 citation for violating
this regulation.

to military personnel. If, in any case the
name has been changed the premises are still
off-limits.

Emergency Services
Fort Campbell Police Department
The Provost Marshal and Chief of Police are
responsible for maintaining discipline and
keeping law and order on Fort Campbell.
Located at 123 Forrest Road, the Military and
Civilian police officers are committed to fighting
crime, preventing crime and keeping neighborhoods
safe for the Fort Campbell Community.
All requests for emergency services, to report
crimes or to request assistance, dial 911. To
make non-emergency requests for police service,

Fire Department and
Emergency Services
The Fort Campbell Fire Department and
Emergency Services prevent and minimize loss
of life, property and environmental danger.
Support is provided 24-hours a day, seven days
a week during peace time, war time and humanitarian
operations. They stand strong in the face
of all man-made incidents and natural disasters
and provide fire protection, rescue, hazardous
material and emergency medical responses.
Installation Security Office
Installation Security Office, Building 123,
Forrest Road (270) 798-3990, is comprised of
three branches (Inspections, Access Control and
Emergency Communications Center). Security
Specialists are available Monday through
Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to assist organizations
and activities with issues concerning the
security of government assets. Physical Security
inspections, surveys and training may be coordinated
through the Installation Security Office

Civilian Personnel Advisory Center
The Civilian Personnel Advisory Center provides
advice and assistance in the areas of
recruiting, attracting and retaining a highquality
civilian workforce. They are also responsible
for the improvement of individual and
organizational performance, structuring the
civilian workforce through position management
and classification, and maintaining the
well-being of the civilian workforce through
management-employee relations, labor relations
and civilian workforce development. For more

Claims Office
The Fort Campbell Claims Office handles all
claims caused by activities of the Army and all
claims for the loss, damage or destruction of
personal property. Located at 125 Forrest Road.

Congressional Inquiries
The Military Personal Service Division,
Special Inquiries Office processes and controls
congressional inquiry communications received at
Fort Campbell. All military personnel and Department
of the Army employees have the right to
communicate with a member of Congress unless
the communication violates regulation necessary
to the security of the United States. Names,
addresses and telephone numbers of state senators
and representatives are available by calling the

COURIER
The Fort Campbell COURIER is a weekly
post newspaper for Soldiers, family members,
retirees and other members of the Fort Campbell
community. It is distributed Thursday evenings to
post quarters and to specially-marked newspaper
boxes both on- and off-post. The COURIER can also

Department of Labor and Workforce
Development (Tennessee)
The Tennessee State Employment Service
provides services to job seekers and employers.
The target population of those individuals
assisted at Fort Campbell is transitioning Military
interested in employment assistance. Services are
also available to Military Spouses and Civilian
employees interested in employment assistance.

Dial INFO
Dial INFO is a service provided by the office
of the Adjutant General. It allows the military
and civilian population of Fort Campbell to
report both personal and personnel problems
which they have been unable to resolve through
their chain of command or other available services.
I-N-F-O is a 24-hour automatic recorder, to
report an issue call (270) 798-INFO (798-4636).
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is
designed to provide free, confidential services,
to include screening to identify the employee's
problem, short-term counseling and, when
appropriate, a referral to a facility or service
(within or outside the Army) that can assist the
employee in resolving his or her problem(s). It is
the employee's responsibility to follow through
with this referral, and to make the necessary
financial arrangements for this service. Participation
in the EAP is voluntary and, ultimately, it
is the employee's decision to participate or not.
EAP services are available for employees
who have a substance abuse problem, who are
seeking help or who had a drug test that has been
verified positive. In addition to substance abuse
problems, the EAP provides comprehensive
short-term counseling and referral services to
help employees achieve a balance between their
work, family, and other personal responsibilities.
Job effectiveness can be adversely affected when
employees are faced with emotional or behavioral
problems, family responsibilities, financial
and legal difficulties and dependent (child/elder)
care needs. EAP services can be extremely
important in the prevention of, and intervention
in, workplace violence incidents. For more

Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union
Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union offers
five locations—one on post and four off post.
The Fort Campbell branch includes one walk-up
ATM, two drive-up ATMs and four drive-teller
stations. The branch is located at 88 Michigan
Ave. and the lobby is open Monday through
Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to
1 p.m. and military paydays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The
drive-window is open Monday through Friday,
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
