Parking: Mountainside
patient parking lots are located just outside the mountainside entrance. Oceanside
patient parking lots are street level around the flagpole. Additional parking areas for patients, visitors and staff
are located below Tripler itself and in the parking structure across the mountainside VA Medical Center on
Patterson Road. See map of Tripler Army Medical Center for parking information.
Office Directory: Listed here are the locations and telephone extension numbers of hospital clinics, wards
and offices. Please ask for help from information center receptionists at the Oceanside and Mountainside
entrances if you’re not sure how to get to your destination, or if you have other questions about Tripler and
its services.
Information Center desks are located inside the
Oceanside and Mountainside main entrances to
Tripler. The Information Center staff fields hundreds
of questions daily and is very knowledgeable
about Tripler. If you haven't been able to
locate the information you want, call the Information
Center. If they can't answer your question,
they will direct you to someone who can. Visitors
can also arrange to use a wheelchair there, by
leaving a photo identification card at the information
desk. Wheelchairs are available on a firstcome,
first-serve basis.
A 24-hour accessible digital Interactive Information
Center is also located at the Oceanside and
Mountainside main entrances. Visitors can locate any
clinic, department or ward they are visiting and print
out a map or any other information they may need to
make their visit easier.
Tripler’s Central Appointment System (CAS)
allows a patient to dial just one number to make
appointments with several clinics.
Tripler's Automatic Call Distribution System
allows you to direct your call to the appropriate clinic
appointment clerk, by first pressing the telephone
number button for one of seven main menu choices
given by a recorded voice, then choosing from other
series of menu choices, to contact the specialty clinic
or office you want.
The PMO also provides the Army and the Veterans
Affairs Offices with police service from the Tripler
Emergency Room. However, since the officers on
duty are frequently called away, the best way to get
their help is to call the information desk receptionists
(433-6661/2), 24 hours a day, who can call them
immediately.
