CIVILIAN PERSONNEL ADVISORY CENTER

A variety of Army positions are filled through the Army Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, and competition for positions is keen. The higher wage rates paid in the local area, coupled with the smaller number of jobs available, leads to a competitive labor market.

Information about all Army jobs (i.e., appropriated fund and nonappropriated fund) is available at www.armycivilianservice.com. Click on the link for “Army Job Search.” This will take you to a page containing a vacancy announcement board where you can search Army vacancies.

The Alaska Civilian Personnel Advisory Center is located on the second floor of Bldg. 600. You may call 907-384-1374 for general information about appropriated fund jobs or 907-384-6984 for information about NAF job opportunities.
