JBER SPOUSES’ CLUB

The JBER Spouses’ Club (JBERSC) offers a variety of activities for spouses of active-duty and retired service members, as well as Department of Defense civilians. The club also offers membership to active-duty, Alaska National Guard and Reserve spouses, and current or retired Department of Defense civilians or their spouses. During the club year (September through May), there are monthly functions planned as well as opportunities to become involved in a wide variety of classes and activities. Joining the JBERSC provides a chance to make lasting friendships, get involved with the community and create wonderful memories. The club hosts an annual fundraiser, The Country Fair, every November. Proceeds from this event are given back to the community in the form of scholarships, awards and donations. Military family members, who are high school seniors and current college undergraduate students, may apply for the scholarships. Scholarships are available to Military spouses as well. Donations are given to the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson community, the Anchorage area and national military support organizations. For more information, checkthe website.
