This includes facilities at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Wahiawa Annex and Hale Kela Moku Housing in Marine Corps Base Hawaii. With more than 4,400 beds in 52 facilities, Hawaii Regional UH is one of the Navy’s largest lodging operations for unaccompanied and visiting DOD personnel in the Pacific. • E-1 to E-4 are the only personnel UH is required to house. This includes shipboard E-4 with fewer than four years and addresses frocked personnel. All other personnel are to reside in the community.
  • Priority by type of sailor has changed. This has no effect on Hawaii, as we already were housing all personnel in all categories.
  • Utilization is now established at 98 percent of available assets. Former policy was “full utilization.”
  • All spaces are nonsmoking.
  • An assignment review board establishes and monitors waiting lists to move on and off base and reviews GB and RA packages.
  • Geographic bachelors, including shipboard personnel, can obtain an application for quarters on www.greatlifehawaii.com.
  • All incoming single sailors must check in with the Administration Office at Building 1323 as soon as they arrive, no later than 72 hours of arrival. Contact the office at 808-473-1203.
