The Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) has been serving military and civilian employees aboard
the base since 2002. NFCU is the largest credit union in the world, offering a wide array of products
and services from savings accounts to mortgages and everything in between. We proudly serve active
duty and retired military personnel, Department of Defense civilian personnel, and contractors who
work aboard a Naval installation, as well as their family members.
Current operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except federal holidays.
For more information about NFCU, please call (229) 435-0595.
The MCLB Albany Web site at www.ala.usmc.mil is a source of command information, including

The Base Operations and Training Division conducts the Command Community Relations Program,
which encompasses public events outside the base and requests for support of civic, local, government and school activities. The program
also coordinates requests for base tours, flag
demonstrations and color guard support. The
Community Relations Program coordinates a
number of events aimed at building long-lasting
bonds with the community. The list below is a
sample of the events. For more information, call

Civilian Human Resources Office-Southeast
(CHRO-SE): Because more than two-thirds of
the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany and
Marine Corps Logistics Command personnel are
civilian employees, the CHRO-SE plays a vital
role in helping managers and supervisors find,
motivate, properly pay, develop and retain
quality workers, and also promote equal
employment opportunities for all. The Federal
Employment Program is based on public law,
Presidential Order and regulations issued by
the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. The
CHRO-SE not only guides officials in operating
a proper personnel program, but also offers
information in response to inquiries from the
general public about jobs in the federal service.
