Welcome aboard! Naval Station Everett is the Navy's newest and most modern facility. Our mission is to support the
United States Maritime Forces by maintaining a secure station and providing support and services to operational U.S. warships,
Coast Guard vessels, the men, women and families of deployed Sailors.
This guide is designed to help newcomers become familiar with Naval Station Everett and the surrounding area. Inside you'll find a wealth of information on
both the station and the local area, making it easier for you and your family to settle into your new home and job.
Naval Station Everett's Fleet and Family Support Center proudly supports the command sponsorship program through training, administrative and organizational
assistance. Your new command will assign your sponsor. He or she is an invaluable resource during your relocation and serves as a liaison to your new command and community. Keeping your
sponsor informed of your travel plans will go far
to making your transition as smooth as possible.
When you receive Permanent Change of Station
(PCS) orders, your local Fleet and Family Support
Center (FFSC) can help in the following ways:
• Provide a relocation seminar, often called the
"Smooth Move Workshop." This seminar covers
the "A to Z" of relocating and includes
representatives from Household Goods, Personnel
Services, Housing and other offices
who explain the entitlements and procedures
involved in making a PCS move.
• Provide current information on your next duty
station through a library of Welcome Aboard
Packets and the Official Department of
Defense Web site for reliable quality of life
information designed to help service members
and their families transitioning onto
other military installations around the world.

• Provide relocation "check lists" and other
printed materials designed to help you organize
your move.
• Provide one-on-one assistance to help you
with all phases of your move.
• Put you in contact with the Relocation Assistance
Program specialist at your new station.
