The Fleet and Family Readiness (F&FR) Department staff welcomes you to the great Pacific Northwest! F&FR has the
unique opportunity to provide recreation facilities and services from four different locations: Naval Station Everett, Navy
Support Complex at Smokey Point, Pacific Beach Resort and Jim Creek Wilderness Recreation Area. From these locations
our staff offers a multitude of recreation activities from basketball tournaments to white water rafting and skiing in the

Want to shoot a few hoops, lift weights or take
a group exercise class? Stop by the Commons and
check out our state of the art fitness center. Seismos
has a wide variety of equipment such as
treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, stationary
bikes, weight machines and free weights. Personal
training appointments are also available to
authorized users, free of charge. Why not try a
game of basketball in the Main Court Gym, softball
on our lighted outdoor fields or a fast paced
game of racquetball. We offer year round intramural
sports programs, including flag football, volleyball,
fall and spring golf, softball and
basketball leagues. Competitive play is also
offered through the NORPAC sports leagues.

Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) is
available to assist you in locating care for your
children. The CCRR office is the point of entry for
all families seeking child care at Naval Station
Everett. Not only do they maintain wait lists for the
Child Development Center and Child Development
Home program, they are responsible for notifying
and placing children in program. To contact

The Child Development Center provides early
childhood education for 146 children age six
weeks to six years of age. For more information,

The Child Development Home Program (CDH)
provides quality childcare for military families.
Certified providers offer developmentally appropriate
programs in a nurturing environment. To
obtain childcare or to become a certified provider,

Youth Programs provides cultural, sports and
recreational activities for Navy dependents ages
5-18. Youth Programs offers monthly special
events for kids of all ages, as well as youth volunteer

Something is always shaking at The Commons!
This state-of-the-art, 63,000 square foot building
houses a fitness center, food court, fleet recreation
center, consolidated club and banquet/ballroom
all rolled into one complex.
Fitness Center - This portion of the building
includes The Main Court Gym, complete with
regulation basketball and volleyball courts, locker
rooms with sauna, gear issue, Seismos free weight
and cardiovascular room, racquetball courts and
multipurpose room for fitness classes.
Food Court - This area will seat 150 people and
offers two dining options. MWR owned and operated
Aftershock Café is open Monday through
Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and offers coffee
drinks, snacks and breakfast pastries as well as
a full lunch menu with daily specials.
Faultline Flicks - This 25 seat movie room,
located in a converted racquetball court, shows
recent hits. It is free for single Sailors and geographical
bachelors. Movie schedules can be
located outside the theater or in the N. Sound edition
of the Northwest Navigator.
Tsunami Pool - our 25-lane, 13-foot deep end
training pool is also a recreation swim facility for
our patrons. Open daily, we offer lap swimming,
open recreation swims and water fitness classes.
Our pool is available for rent for command functions

Fleet Recreation Center - Vibes is located on
the second floor of The Commons and has pool
tables, dart boards, a big screen TV, video games,
and Internet access. It also acts a central location
for a variety of F&FR events and activities.
Club & Banquet Room - The consolidated
club, Tremors provides the perfect place to spend
some time with a group of your friends. The
lounge offers beverages, limited food service,
music, pool table, dance floor and several televisions.
The Grand Vista Ballroom, with its
panoramic view of the Puget Sound, is available to
rent for parties, weddings and command functions.

Serving as a liaison between the F&FR office,
home ported and visiting ships, our deployed forces
support coordinator is ready to meet the leisure
needs of fleet sailors. Sailors are invited to utilize
all F&FR facilities and activities. Special recreation
activities can also be established to meets a ship's

Leisure Services, we specialize in getting you into the action by offering information, trips and tours.
We carry discounted tickets for a variety of locations,
both in and out of state as well as information
on local area attractions. Several examples include
directing you to major sites in Seattle such as: Pike
Place Market, The Space Needle, waterfront shipping
area, the Experience Music Project and Science
Fiction Museum, Seattle Aquarium, Pioneer
Square, Safeco Field and the International District.
We also offer tickets to many of the theatrical and
musical performances in the Everett and Seattle
area. From Everett you are only 100 miles from the
Canadian border. ITT also offers hotel vouchers for
