Academy of Natural Science Museum
The first natural history museum in the nation is located at 19th
and the Parkway.Dinosaurs, Egyptian mummies, live animal shows,
an African cave, gems, minerals, fish and shells, films and field trips

Adventure Aquarium
Located on the Camden waterfront, this aquarium is home to
many different species of fish and other animals including sharks.

Betsy Ross House
This is the home of the seamstress who created the first American
flag. Located at 239 Arch St. (between Second and Third Street),
this charming house is open seven days a week, Memorial Day
through Labor Day; and during the off-season, Tuesday through

City Hall
For a spectacular view of the city, the City Hall tower takes visitors
on a tiny elevator that whisks visitors up to an outside area at
the foot of the William Penn statue atop the building. Reservations
are necessary so call ahead for more information.
Monday through Friday, at 12:30 p.m., visitors can also tour the
inside of City Hall (no reservations necessary). Children under 12
