Air Mobility Command Museum

Don’t miss the only museum dedicated to airlift and air refueling history. Climb aboard planes ranging from World War II to current four-engine jet transports, fly in the museum’s simulators or take a guided tour. Free admission.

The Biggs Museum of American Art has a growing collection of fine and decorative art objects that reflect the Delmarva Peninsula. Galleries display art in a timeline presentation from the 1700s to the present.

Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village

The Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village preserves the agricultural heritage of Delaware and the Delmarva Peninsula. The Main Exhibit Hall puts the technological advances made by Delawareans on display as well as the industries they founded. The outdoor Loockerman Landing Village represents a rural village in the 1890s, with a store, a farmhouse, a church and a schoolhouse.

The Delaware State Police Museum is dedicated to preserving the rich history of the Delaware State Police. It houses an extensive collection of artifacts and displays, as well as antique vehicles.

Johnson Victrola Museum

The Johnson Victrola Museum celebrates the life and achievements of Eldridge Reeves Johnson, founder of the Victor Talking Machine Company. Phonographs, memorabilia, trademarks and paintings showcase Johnson, his company and the developments of the sound-recording industry. For information on group tours, visit the museum’s website.
