The Malmstrom Chaplain Corps offers a full range of religious support. In addition to regularly scheduled Catholic and Protestant worship services, it also offers a variety of religious activities and programs. Programs include religious education, Bible studies, parish organizations, pastoral counseling, religious rites, sacraments and community service programs. Chaplain Corps programs are available for all DOD personnel and their families. The chaplains and chaplain assistants also provide extensive “ministry of presence” (visitation) for all work areas throughout the base to include on-site deployed Airmen at the missile alert facilities, covering 13,800 square miles.
Worship services and ministries for other faith groups are available in cooperation with local religious communities. Contact the Chaplain Corps main office at 406-731-3721 for times, location and points of contact.
Baptisms and marriage ceremonies may be arranged by calling the chapel to set up an appointment with a chaplain. Requirements for marriage vary, but contact with a chaplain should be made at least six months in advance of the wedding date.
Confidential pastoral counseling is available for individuals, couples and families. Persons seeking counsel can call the chapel at 406-731-3721 during normal duty hours for an appointment. Emergency pastoral support is available 24/7 by calling the command post at 406-731-3801 after duty hours.
