The School Age Program is nationally accredited through the National Afterschool Association. Care is provided before and after school for youths in kindergarten through sixth grade, and full time during winter and spring breaks. Full-time summer camps available during summer break are specialty camps utilizing many of Alaska’s great resources. Daily activities include swimming, hiking, fishing, field trips, activities, sports, arts and crafts and much more. Boys & Girls Club and 4-H activities are ongoing year-round. The Boys & Girls Club program Power Hour offers youths homework assistance during the school year. Numerous family activities are offered throughout the year, and youths are encouraged to support their local community through ongoing community activities.
