Billed as the longest-running annual almond blossom festival in America, this unique local festival features myriad blooming almond trees on nearby Quartz Hill. The festival has crafts, entertainment, a carnival and food vendors. The event also includes the almond festival parade, one of the oldest parades in the Antelope Valley. The event is traditionally held over a weekend in March.

Celebrating Lancaster’s most colorful seasonal visitors, the California poppy, this event offers continuous family entertainment; animal attractions; an arts and crafts bazaar; a car show; and unique cuisine. The event is held over a weekend in April.

This annual event is held at the fairgrounds and features concerts, auto events, a military appreciation day, food and carnival rides, plus a local tradition, the Rural Olympics. The fair is held each year in August.

Armed Forces Appreciation Day

Downtown Rosamond celebrates and honors the armed forces with festivities that include a parade on Diamond Street to Rosamond Boulevard, food vendors, games and entertainment. The event is on the fourth Saturday in September.

The Rand Desert Museum sponsors this street fair event featuring country western and bluegrass bands, gunfighters, a vintage car show, food booths, antiques, collectibles and other vendors. It is held the third weekend in September.

Wasteland Weekend is a post-apocalyptic party in the heart of the California desert wastelands. Costumes are required and you must be at least 18 years old to attend. Wasteland Weekend provides camping space, a 360-degree post-apocalyptic environment, entertainment and activities, vendors and basic facilities. The five-day event is held in September.

Generally held the last weekend of September or the first weekend of October, this event takes place in the downtown area known as The BLVD. It features professional go-kart racing, with all ages participating. It also includes a street festival, classic car show and live entertainment.
