Cherry Hill is a water park, family fun center and camping resort, all rolled into one amusement park. Make your way through the Jungle Maze, play a round of miniature golf, climb a 30-foot-high rock wall or pan for gems. The water park features a 40-foot pirate ship and Pirates Cove Pool, a lazy river, waterslides and the Cardiac Canyon River Run — a tube slide with caverns, waterfalls and sudden drops. Cherry Hill has 180 campsites, including RV sites, nestled among 700 trees. Dinosaur Park features more than 8 acres of life-sized dinosaur sculptures in an outdoor environment, as well as a working paleontology lab, hands-on exhibits, an education center and a museum. Lagoon — it’s what fun is! More than 50 rides include everything from roller coasters and high-thrill rides to swings, Ferris wheels and Kiddieland attractions. Pioneer Village, a rustic Old West area of the park, features 42 authentic 19th-century stores and buildings. Take in spectacular views on the Ogden River Scenic Byway. The byway takes drivers through a narrow canyon in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest to the Pineview Reservoir. Pineview Reservoir is 6 miles east of the mouth of the canyon. The reservoir area offers a variety of recreational activities, including water skiing, windsurfing, fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
