Core business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. MAHC offers extended hours for primary care until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. All MAHC services are closed on all federal holidays. The facility runs reduced schedules on training holidays and from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month for training day.
MAHC provides health care through Primary Care Managers. Primary Care Managers are physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners that are responsible for your primary care needs and coordinate your specialty care needs. To be assigned a Primary Care Manager, patients must enroll in TRICARE Prime.
Active-duty military are required to enroll when they in-process. Family members and others must choose to enroll. Those wishing to enroll or to transfer enrollment from another duty location should stop by the TRICARE Service Center located in MAHC.
Information on all of the TRICARE programs is available from the TRICARE Service Center. The TRICARE Service Center has walk-in-only hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday inside MAHC.
Beneficiares can book and cancel appointments online after registering for an account.
Family Medicine Clinic/Pediatrics
The Family Medicine Clinic is located on the third floor of the main facility. Pediatrics is located on the first floor of the main facility in the southwest corner of the building across from the TRICARE Service Center.
Munson Army Health Center does not offer sick-call or walk-in services. All beneficiaries are seen through the appointment system. Call the appointment line at (913) 684-6250 to make an appointment.
After Hours Health Care
For after-hours assistance beneficiaries can call the triage nurse advice line at (913) 684-6621, or the Primary Care Manager on call at (913) 684-6000. Beneficiaries should know the name of their primary care manager when calling.
Munson Army Health Center does not have an Emergency Room. For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room in the civilian community. An emergency room should never be used as a substitute for a primary care appointment with your provider.

711 Marshall Street.
About 1.5 miles from Main Gate. Straight out Main Gate on 7th Street. Two blocks south of Spruce, turn right onto Marshall.
Saint John Hospital
3500 S. 4th Street Trafficway.
About 3.5 miles from the Grant Avenue Gate. From Grant gate turn left onto Metropolitan Avenue and Right on 4th Street Trafficway. The hospital is on the right just south of the Leavenworth Plaza.
4104 South 4th Street Trafficway.
About 3.5 miles from the Grant Avenue Gate. From Grant Gate, turn left onto Metropolitan Avenue, right on 4th Street Trafficway. The Medical Center is on the left across the street from the University of Saint Mary.
