PARENT CENTRAL SERVICES

Walk-in registrations welcome. Appointments only on Fridays. Appointments are encouraged and have priority over walk-ins. All customers must register at Parent Central Services before they may access any CYSS programs.

SCHOOL-AGE CARE (SAC)

Before- and after-school care for first through fifth grade. Summer Spectrum is a full-day summer camp program for school-age children. Camps available during spring and winter school breaks. Occasional care is available. Services are available in five sites across Fort Hood. All SAC sites are nationally accredited and offer full-day programs during school holidays.

YOUTH SERVICES AND CENTERS

The centers offer programs in sports and fitness, leisure and recreation, life skills, citizenship and leadership, intervention, mentoring and support services for youth from sixth through 12th grade. Youth center hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday during school days; noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday on school holidays and during the summer.

School support: provides information and assistance with Special Education Programs, school policy, school report cards and emergency contingency plans.

EFMP is a mandatory enrollment program that works with military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive and coordinated community support, housing, educational, medical and personnel services to Families with special needs.

Program includes information and referral; respite care; emotional support; advocacy; systems navigation; Special Needs Accommodation Process (SNAP); support groups; and recreational and cultural activities.

A command program designed to provide financial education, training, counseling and referral procedures within the unit.

ARMY EMERGENCY RELIEF (AER)

A nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide emergency financial assistance to Soldiers, their Families and retirees through interest-free loans or grants.

Services include food, rent or utilities; emergency transportation and vehicle repair; funeral expenses; and medical/dental expenses. Provides college scholarships to children, spouses and surviving spouses of Soldiers.
