MEDICAL SERVICES

MISSION

On a continuum of patient-centered care, Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center provides responsive and highly reliable health services and promotes health to improve readiness, improve health outcomes and advance wellness in support of the force, military families, retirees and those entrusted to the center’s care in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and the surrounding community.

RWBAHC shall be the premier health center in the Army, based on the excellence of its people, its patient-centered health care and its wellness strategy.

APPOINTMENTS

For appointments, call 520-533-9200. More RWBAHC information is available at http://rwbach.huachuca.amedd.army.mil. The center strives to be a leader in health care and a model for rural military health care facilities in the Southwest. The center will continue to develop strategies to support its mission of providing quality health care in support of the Army mission.

Appointments can also be made online at www.tricareonline.com. TRICARE Online appointments can be made for primary care, well baby visits, well-woman visits, post-deployment health assessments (if the service member is under 40), nutrition and optometry. Medical care can also be accessed via Relay Health (aka Secure Messaging) at https://app.mil.relayhealth.com. Secure Messaging is an online portal that enables patients to have open communication lines directly with their primary care manager and primary care manager team through secured email messages.

FAMILY CARE CLINICS A/B

The Family Care Clinics A/B are in the main health care facility, Building 45001, 2240 E. Winrow Ave. The clinics offer integration of both pediatric and adult services. For an appointment with a primary care manager, dial Central Appointments at 520-533-9200, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.

FRONT DESK

Hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

SOLDIER CENTERED CLINIC

The Soldier Centered Clinic is for active-duty, permanent-party service members. Flight personnel, officer basic and advanced course students and NCO Academy students receive medical care at Soldier Centered Clinic, Building 51101, Winans Road, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment only. Patients (except flight personnel) must call 520-533-9200/877-856-2821 to schedule an appointment. Patients 40 and older who need a periodic health assessment may call 520-533-2627. Flight personnel may book appointments by calling 520-538-1546. For clinic information or assistance, call 520-533-2627.

MILITARY INTELLIGENCE STUDENT CLINIC

The Military Intelligence Student Clinic is in Building 84550A, Hunt Avenue. The clinic provides sick-call service to active-duty Initial Entry Training students and reclassification Soldiers. Hours are 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. For an appointment, call 520-533-6709.

ALLERGY AND IMMUNIZATION CLINIC

The post does not have a specified immunization clinic. Immunizations are conducted with your primary care team on a walk-in basis between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., with lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please remember the center has training day on Thursday, so immunizations are not available until 9 a.m. Patients 0 to 6 years of age will receive their immunization at their well-baby or child visit. Patients older than 6 years of age can get immunizations without seeing a provider. Call your primary care clinic at either 533-9165 (FCC-A) or 533-9034 (FCC-B) for information. Please ensure you bring all your hard copy immunization records.

WEEKEND HEALTH ACCESS CLINIC

Acute minor illness medical care is provided for active-duty personnel and TRICARE Prime beneficiaries. The Weekend Health Access Clinic is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and training holidays. The clinic is closed Sunday and all federal holidays. Call 520-533-9165 during clinic hours to schedule an appointment. The Weekend Health Access Clinic is in the main health center, Building 45001, 2240 E. Winrow Ave. Use the side entrance to the left of the main entrance.

TRICARE Prime beneficiaries who have urgent or acute medical issues when RWBAHC is closed can contact the TRICARE Nurse Advice Line at 800-874-2273.

OPTOMETRY CLINIC

Examinations are by appointment only. Clinic hours are 7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with closure for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and 7:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. only on Thursday. To make an appointment, call 520-533-9197.

PHYSICAL THERAPY AND SPORTS MEDICINE

Patients are seen by referral only. Hours are 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. Early and late hours are available for the student population. To make an appointment after receiving a referral, call 520-533-9102.

NURSE ADVICE LINE

If you need medical advice after hours, contact the TRICARE Nurse Advice Line at 800-TRICARE (874-2273). The
TRICARE Nurse Advice Line is available to all RWBAHC beneficiaries who have medical questions. Services include home health care advice, answers to a multitude of medical questions and authorizations for after-hours treatment at local urgent care centers, if deemed necessary.

URGENT CARE

RWBAHC does not have emergency room capability. Emergency room care is provided 24/7 by Canyon Vista Medical Center at
5700 E. Highway 90 in Sierra Vista. TRICARE Prime enrollees may incur out-of-pocket costs for inappropriate emergency room use.

Call the Nurse Advice Line at 800-TRICARE (874-2273) and they can guide you to the appropriate care.

PATIENT ADVOCATE

The patient advocate is available to assist you with all concerns regarding the health center or clinic appointments and operations. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays, or call 520-533-2313.

MILITARY CLOTHING SALES STORE

The Military Clothing Sales Store is in Building 80501 at Prosser Village. This facility stocks issue and commercial military items as well as other military-related merchandise. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

MURR COMMUNITY CENTER

The Murr Community Center is in Building 51301, Cushing Street. Facilities include two large, multipurpose rooms that are used for training, Fort Huachuca Town Hall meetings and other activities.

OFFICIAL MAIL

The Official Mail and Distribution Center is in Building 22408, 448 Christy Ave. Services provided include: (official government business mail only) USPS, FedEx, unit mail handler training and certification. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Wednesday and Friday; and 1 to 3:45 p.m. Thursday. The unit mail handler class is conducted every third Thursday of the month.
