The CARE Shelter offers temporary housing in a non-threatening atmosphere to victims of family violence. Services Provided: Kids on Site (KoS) provides child care on site for your unit/organizational event at the location your event is being held. CYS will provide quality child care providers to watch children ages 6 weeks through 12 years on site. Your unit pays for this service through Parent Central Services. VOLUNTEER CHILD CARE IN A UNIT SETTING (VCCUS)

Services Provided: Volunteer Child Care in Unit Settings (VCCUS) is a volunteer-based childcare program that allows for on-site care during meetings and events organized by military units, ACS or FMWR. Through VCCUS, Parent & Outreach Services will provide training to volunteers from the military unit or organization. The program is designed to allow the exchange of free and temporary childcare services during unit sessions when the demand is high or when child development center services are not available. Parents and guardians of children in VCCUS must be attending the same function and must remain at the site while their child is under volunteer care.

    FCC providers have a daily lesson plan that parents can view to keep up with their child’s learning opportunities through the week
  • Nationally accredited and state certified providers.
  • Homes meet same Department of the Army regulatory requirements including monthly inspection by fire, and safety, USDA food program, and health program
  • Extended care hours for early mornings, evenings, over nights, weekends, and long term care options are available as well as before and after school. Some FCC providers are even available on holidays.

Services Provided: Provides developmental child care in two delivery systems: seven centers and Family Child Care Homes. Child care provisions can be made for children 4 weeks of age to 12 years of age for full day, part day, hourly, extended, long term and special needs care. It is our belief that a high quality early childhood program enhances the physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development of young children while responding to their individual needs.

Part-Day Preschool: Services up to 5 hours per day for children 3-5 years (children must be potty trained); morning class two, three, or five days per week.

Strong Beginnings: A Pre-K program for children who will turn 4 by Aug 31st of the current year and will attend kindergarten the following school year.

Hourly Care: Minimum of one hour, maximum of twenty-five hours per week. Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance.
