Called “lilo holo I ka uaua,” meaning “dog that runs in rough water,” the endangered Hawaiian monk seal is found nowhere else on earth, and is believed to be the oldest species of seal on the planet. Please respect them by saying hello from a distance!

#tbt to the 2019 Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association - HLTA Charity Walk. Aqua-Aston Hospitality is a proud supporter and participator in this charity event, where all donations stay in Hawaii to support local charities. We wanted to give a special shout out and warm mahalo to the two teammates who took the lead in co-chairing Aqua-Aston’s efforts: Jennifer Batara (middle), general manager at Aqua Pacific Monarch and Brian “Kovy” Kovaloff (left), general manager at Aqua Skyline at Island Colony, who are both pictured here with Jeff Caminos (right), Aqua-Aston’s vice president of operations. Jennifer and Kovy led the company’s fundraising efforts and organized Aqua-Aston’s setup at the event. As a result, Aqua-Aston raised more than $80,000 for Charity Walk. Great work, Jennifer and Kovy!
