Although known for their help in sending communications on behalf of family members who are facing emergencies or other important events to member of the U.S. Armed Forces serving all over the world, the ARC Hawaii State Chapter is also a leader in health and safety training.  Their training classes include Nurse Aid CNA Exam, Nurse Assistant Training Program, various First Aid and CPR classes, Aquatics and Water Safety training, Babysitting, and a Teen Leadership Program.  Other programs specifically for military members include Coping with Deployments - Psychological First Aid for Military Families Course, and Human Animal Bond Program at Tripler Army Medical Center.
