Location: Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NASJRB) Fort Worth is a joint defense facility which plays a pivotal role in the training and equipping of air crews and aviation ground support personnel. NAS JRB Fort Worth is located within the city limits of Fort Worth, Texas. Fort Worth is part of the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex. Youth Services:  The Youth Sponsorship program assists youth moving to the area by matching them with a sponsor living here, who is of similar age and has similar interests.

Housing: NAS JRB Fort Worth has approximately 83 units and there is currently a 6-12 month waiting list. All new arrivals are strongly encouraged to add their names to the on-base waiting list as soon as possible after arrival to NAS JRB Fort Worth. Call the Housing Referral Office, at 817-782-5711/2.

Base Services: 

Medical Services:  NAS JRB Fort Worth has medical and dental care support for active duty personnel ONLY. Family members must enroll in the local TRICARE Medical Treatment Program. Branch Medical/Dental Clinic (Co-located) 817-782-5900.

Defense Service Network (DSN) Dialing Instructions

The DSN is the provider of long-distance communications service for the Department of Defense (DoD). Every installation has a special DSN number and the numbers vary by world-wide location. In order to place a call using DSN, the caller must be using a military phone on an installation. Cell phones cannot dial DSN numbers. When dialing a DSN number from a United States installation to another United States installation, it is unnecessary to dial the DSN 312 area code. When dialing a DSN number to/from overseas locations, the DSN area code must be included. The operator can be reached at commercial (719) 567-1110. Please note that long distance charges may be incurred.
