Christopher R Sartori, MD, received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his internship in family medicine at David Grant U.S.A.F.Medical Center and his dermatology residency at Wilford Hall U.S.A.F. Medical Center, where he subsequently served as an academic staff physician. Dr. Sartori then served as chief of dermatology at the United States Air Force Academy. He has published several articles and textbook chapters and has traveled extensively in Latin America as part of humanitarian medical outreach missions. A popular lecturer, Dr. Sartori regularly teaches at national and local meetings. He is currently an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. Even though Dr. Sartori is a retired Colonel but continues U.S.A.F. as a mentor too many cadets. He is fluent in Spanish.
Brett K Matheson, MD, F.A.C.M.S. was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. He received his Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. After graduating from Georgetown, he served nine years as a medical officer in the United States Navy, including two tours to Japan. He completed his dermatology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego and a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Denver University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Matheson was the first fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon to establish a practice in Colorado Springs. Dr. Matheson is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and has lectured at many national medical meetings. In 2000 he settled in Colorado Springs, where three previous generations of his family lived. When not working, Dr. Matheson enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. Dr. Matheson is fluent in Japanese.
Martin Harris, MD, is originally from Wisconsin. He received his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University. Dr. Harris graduated from medical school at Uniformed Service University and completed his internship and dermatology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Before retiring, he served as a chief dermatologist at Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, Colorado, from 2015 to 2022. Dr. Harris has published several articles. Before retiring from the military, he has received several awards and honors for his service to the United States Army. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, Medical Honor Society, and the Association of Military Dermatologists. Dr. Harris is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and four children.
Tara Burton is a certified Physician Assistant who has been practicing dermatology in Colorado Springs since 2004. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology from Brigham Young University and Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science Degree as P.A.P.A. from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Medical School. Tara was the William D. Stanhope scholar of her class (highest G.P.A.). She graduated in 1999 and began her career in emergency medicine before finding her true love, dermatology. When not working, she spends her time with her husband and two children as often as possible in great Colorado outdoors.
