Thank you for your interest in our welcoming Catholic Community. Our parish community was founded in 1928 by Father Charles Kerfs. Our current pastor is Father Peter Crivello. For more information about our history or staff, please visit our parish website.
We look forward to meeting you as you explore the Catholic Communities of the Monterey Peninsula.
As a community of faith that comes together to celebrate the Eucharist, we are nourished and renewed in our work of reaching out into the community of Pacific Grove and the Monterey Peninsula and build God’s Kingdom. Our liturgical schedule is currently as follows:
- Sunday Mass is celebrated at 10am on the Parish Preschool Playground. We ask that you preregister via our parish website.
- Weekday Mass is celebrated at 11:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, outside the parish office.
- The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated outside the front of the Church on Saturday at 9am, or is available by appointment.
- Our parish also livestreams a weekend Mass, which is available at 5pm on our parish website.
Our parish Children’s Center offers a high-quality developmental program that provides for the individual and varied needs of the children and families of the Monterey Peninsula we serve. We offer programs ranging from a 3 half day schedule to a 5 full day schedule for Pre-kindergarten and Pre-school ages. For more information, please contact the Preschool Director, Mrs. Heather Diaz at 831.372.3555, or visit their website.
For over twenty years, our parish has been home to Small Christian Communities, groups of parishioners who gather to reflect on the Sunday readings, grow in faith, support one another, and undertake serving others, together.
Our youth faith formation programs are built around a core of whole person formation that instills the tenets of the Catholic Faith, but also seeks to help the entire family grow in faith.
Our Music Ministry enriches our liturgies and has been a great source of artistic reflection for the parish during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Christ Child Society of Monterey Bay Yarns and Stitches group meets every other Wednesday virtually during the pandemic to share what we have been making. We crochet/knit/loom baby hats and blankets for local under-resourced infants in need of a loving start in life.
