Run with History Half Marathon Edwards Air Force Base Events


Winterfest is presented annually in December by the 412th Force Support Squadron and held at the community tree on Fitzgerald Boulevard (by Burger King and Starbucks). The entire Edwards community is invited to celebrate the holiday season with real snow, holiday music, free family activities and a visit with Santa.


Month of the Military Child

During April various events and activities are held to honor the children of military families.


Flag Ceremony Honor Guard, Edwards Air Force Base Events

Volunteer Recognition Ceremony

This annual event, sponsored by the Airman & Family Readiness Center, pays tribute to the numerous volunteers at Edwards and is usually held in April.

Run with History Half Marathon/5K/10K & Exotic Car Show

Run where history is made every day. All runs will take place on the historic Edwards AFB lake bed and flight line. Explore a variety of exotic cars; enjoy food, music and vendors; and cheer on the marathon runners. This event is held in May.

Retiree Recognition Day

This annual event, typically held in May of each year, provides information and resources to retired military of all branches.


Summer Bash Fireworks, Edwards Air Force Base Events

Summer Bash

Presented every July 4 by the 412th Force Support Squadron at Wings and Roberts fields near Arnold Park. Activities may include entertainment, free carnival rides, family games, bouncy castles, sports competitions and a fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day.
