Emergency Care

Although Eielson does not have an emergency room, 24-hour ambulance service is available for transport to Bassett Army Community Hospital or to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. In case of emergency, dial 911 from an on-base phone. Cellular phone users may also dial 911, but this will connect you with the local community dispatch. You must tell them you are on Eielson if you need an on-base ambulance. Members with non-emergent conditions should call the clinic at 907-377-1847, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
