Pet Registration

Pet Registration

Only two pets per household are authorized in family housing. Pets must be under control (i.e., leashed or fenced) at all times and must not disturb the peace, become a nuisance or pose a threat to other animals, people or property.

Traditionally, wild animals and some aggressive canine breeds are not allowed in base housing. Further restrictions are published in the military family housing “We Care” pamphlet.

Base regulations require that all dogs, cats and horses residing on base must be registered with the Veterinary Treatment Facility (VTF) within five days of arrival and annually thereafter. They must meet the specific vaccination requirements for their species and age. To register your pet, please bring its vaccination records to the VTF to be issued an F.E. Warren tag and registration certificate. The VTF is in Building 288 on the corner of Frontier and 5th Cavalry. For more information, please call 307-773-3354.
