At those hotels, Katrin managed teams in all aspects of contract administration, procurement, cost controls, inventory tracking, facility maintenance, special events planning and new business development. She earned numerous prestigious awards for outstanding job performance and customer service.
In her corporate, bilingual positions in the hospitality industry, she acquired hands-on abilities in multisite operations, labor relations, market trend analysis and sustainability strategies in rapidly shifting market conditions. Katrin also regularly participates in organized community events throughout Springfield VA and Washington DC, areas and has provided real-time concierge services in time-sensitive situations. These make her uniquely suited to serve real estate buyers and sellers at all stages of their transitions.
Katrin lives in a Virginia suburb outside Washington, DC with her son, Oliver, and their dog Max. She spends her free time in gardening and flower arranging, while regularly volunteering and cheering for her son’s travel and high school soccer team. Currently she also volunteers with COMYC, helping to provide at-risk children and families with all types of life skills assistance. She is also active with the FCPS PTA in supporting the local school community.
Katrin was born and raised in Moritzburg near Dresden, Germany and moved to the US in 1999 to continue excelling in consumer-facing environments.
