Fort Benning iSportsman is an online website managed by Fort Benning Fish and Wildlife and Fort Benning MWR Outdoor Recreation. It’s your official source for hunting, fishing, and other recreational guidelines, regulations, permits, and more for the base.

It solves so many problems that can crop up related to enjoying outdoor activities on base. Sometimes, areas are closed and you don’t know until you get there. Sometimes, areas have different operating hours from month to month. Sometimes, an area might be totally full, and you have to turn around and head back home. There’s a lot that can dampen what’s supposed to be a fun day out.

What Does iSportsman Fort Benning Offer?

What DOESN’T it offer? By making a Fort Benning iSportsman account, you unlock access to maps for all recreational activities, important outdoor rec news, easy permit purchasing, and all the regulations and guidelines in one easy-to-access location.

Fort Benning Hunting Map and Fishing Map

Each month, the combo fishing and hunting Fort Benning map is updated to reflect the newest changes to available hunting spaces on base. This map comes in the form of a PDF, meaning you can easily print it and take it with you wherever you go.

The clear legend makes it easy to understand what type of hunting/fishing is open in what area, what areas are off-limits, and more.

Fort Benning Hunting Permits and Fishing Licenses

If you’re planning on hunting or fishing on base, you have to get a license first. By clicking “Permits” in the top navigation menu, you’ll be able to navigate to a page that shows all the current hunting, fishing, and other recreational permits available and the price for each.
