Youth Employment

Career Concepts opens the business world to younger adults. Youths in grades 7 – 12 can gain experience in a variety of work situations, including a youth entrepreneurial company and money management program. Job search skills, resume preparation and career opportunities are all a part of Career Concepts. Contact the Youthplex at 915-568-5437 for more information on this program.

The Fort Bliss commissary employs youths ages 15 and up for bagging groceries. They work solely for tips given by the patron. Applications may be obtained at the commissary.

The CYSS HIRED! Program provides teens 15-18 years of age with apprenticeship opportunities in various on post facilities (e.g., Bowling Center, Golf Course, Community Club, Outdoor Recreation, Library, Marketing Office, CYS, etc.).
