The Equal Employment Opportunity Officer advises and assists the commander and staff on matters pertaining to the Federal Civilian Equal Employment Opportunity Program. The Equal Employment Opportunity Office monitors the civilian workforce to ensure compliance with Title VII law to eliminate discrimination. The EEO Officer supervises the implementation and management of the Special Emphasis Program, the Individuals with Disabilities Program, the Discrimination Complaint Program, Compliance and Program Services, and provides EEO training and education to managers, supervisors and employees.

The EEO staff provides administrative support to the Department of Defense, Civilian Personnel Management Service, Investigation and Resolutions Division and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The EEO office is located at 127 Jackson St., Building 2-1515. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call (910) 396-5214/4017.
