Golf Courses

Fort Bragg has two 18-hole golf courses.  Stryker Golf Course on Bragg Boulevard opened in 1946 and was designed by renowned architect Donald Ross. It has a championship style layout with small undulating greens. Ryder Golf Course on Normandy Drive was built in 1930 and designed by C. C. McCusion. Its narrow fairways, hilly landscape and small greens make it a challenge for even the most skilled players.

Professionals are available for golf lessons at both courses. Junior golf clinics are offered during the summer and arrangements can be made for tournament outings. The pro shops at Stryker and Ryder are fully stocked with the latest golf equipment, accessories and clothing.  Both clubs offer membership to all active duty, DoD civilians and retirees. Clubs, bags and golf carts are available for rental at both courses.

• Stryker Golf Course, Building K-1219, (910) 396-3980.

• Ryder Golf Course, Building 1-5625, (910) 907-4653.
