XVIII Airborne Corps troopers jump for first time following year-long deployment

FORT BRAGG, N.C. Soldiers with the XVIII Airborne Corps headquarters made their first jump in over a year, Sept. 18, 2019 at Fort Bragg, N.C., parachuting from a C130H Hercules.
The Corps’ returned from Iraq after serving for more than a year as the Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve headquarters.
The airborne operation is a requirement for paratroopers to maintain jump status proficiency following their return from overseas.
