Hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. 8 a.m to 5 p.m on Fridays. Walk-in hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday is by appointment only.

This office completes registration for all eligible children and youth. PCS provides information about Child and Youth Services (CYS) programs and assists parents in making the appropriate choices for their family. Visit www.militarychildcare.com to begin your search for child care placement, even before you arrive on Fort Campbell or before the birth or adoption of a child.

Fort Campbell has nationally accredited child development centers and school-age programs, providing full-day care and before- and after-preschool for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

Family Child Care (FCC) is provided in certified homes both on and off post to children ranging in ages from 1 month to 12 years old. Hourly care may be available in some homes. Full-time and part-time care options are available. The homes also provide extended care on a case-by-case basis.

Colwell Strong Beginnings Pre-K is provided to children 4 years of age or older.

SCHOOL AGE CENTERS (SAC)

School Age Centers (SAC) provide before- and after-school care for children in kindergarten through fifth grade at one of three facilities. SAC also provides full-time care when school is not in session (snow days, in-service days, and fall, summer and spring breaks). SAC also services off-post schools, including Barkers Mill, Glenellen, Hazelwood, Kenwood, Minglewood, Northeast, West Creek, Liberty, Ringgold, Woodlawn, Pisgah and Oakland. Additionally, SAC provides daily activities for children needing only intermittent care in accordance with school schedules.

MIDDLE SCHOOL/TEEN CENTER/YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS

Individual and team sports are available for youth ages 4 to 18 through Youth Sports and Fitness, located in the Taylor Youth Center. Middle school students can also participate in the age-appropriate activities. Teens enjoy an area that is designed specifically to meet their needs. The center is open Monday through Saturday. They are affiliated with the Boys & Girls Club of America and the Kentucky 4-H Club.

SKIES UNLIMITED

SKIES Unlimited represents the Schools of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration and Skills, with the word “Unlimited” for the unlimited possibilities this program offers Army children and youth. SKIES Unlimited encompasses instructional programs for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to adolescence. It provides instructional classes for gymnastics, martial arts, dance, Kindermusik, piano, foreign languages, sewing and various other interests.
