The centralized Soldier Support Center is managed by the Military Personnel Services Division. Services include ID cards/DEERS, Transition Services, In-/Out-processing, Reassignments, Records, Dental, Finance and MWR. All offices except ID Cards are closed 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Out-processing

Soldiers assigned to Fort Campbell who will permanently leave the installation due to PCS or separation from service must out-process the installation.

Out-processing clearing papers can be requested at the following link on the Fort Campbell Intranet: https://intranet.campbell.army.mil/garrison/dhr/MPSD/inop/_layouts/15/start.aspx#.

Clearing papers cannot be requested earlier than 14 business days from the start of the Soldier’s leave date. Once clearing papers are requested they will be sent via email approximately five business days from the date of request.

Passports/Visas/Family Travel

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Family Travel/Passport Office processes official and no-fee passports and visas for family members and DA civilians who are authorized to PCS overseas. This office also processes official passports for military members who require official passports to perform their duties overseas. Official passports are not authorized to be used for personal travel.

Passport application processing is by appointment only. Passport appointments are available at www.campbell.army.mil/Installation/Pages/Passports.aspx. The request passport appointment button is at the bottom of the page along with the FAQ. You must read the FAQ before you make an appointment to ensure you have all documents required or you will be rescheduled. All other services are by appointment or walk-in.

Retirement Services Office

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Closed 11:30 a.m. to noon for lunch.

The Retirement Services Office provides pre- and post-retirement advice and assistance to Soldiers, retirees and family members. Specific areas of interest include Survivor Benefit Plan counseling for retired and retiring Soldiers, as well as for active-duty death survivors; assistance with retired pay issues; concurrent retirement and disability pay and combat-related special compensation advice; and information on Army retirement benefits such as ID cards, TRICARE and the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program.
