Community Activity Center

The Community Activity Center, at 124 Wainwright Drive, is your one-stop shop for fantastic trips, outdoor adventure, sports tickets and Engeldrum Bluff rental information. Engeldrum Bluff

Engeldrum Bluff, on Sheridan Loop, is a common green area overlooking the Narrows and Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. The space can be used to hold ceremonies, community events or private parties and to enjoy views of New York City. The fitness center at 402 MacArthur Road features basketball and racquetball courts, boxing equipment, cardio equipment, fitness classes, free weights, stationary and cycling bicycles, a stretching room, weight machines and more. The center also has information on the post’s intramural sports. Outdoor recreational fields can be found at the Sgt. Deon L. Taylor Sports Field on Pershing Loop. The outdoor pool at the Community Club at 207 Sterling Drive is open to club members, DOD ID card holders and their guests only. The pool, with views overlooking the Verrazano Bridge, features a diving board, splash pad and two lap lanes. The pool also hosts an aqua aerobics program.
