Story by Scott Sturkol on 03/12/2019
People continued to work Feb. 27, 2019, on post after a snowfall dropped 8 inches of snow at Fort McCoy, Wis.
During February, Fort McCoy received near-record amounts of snowfall for the month with more than 35 inches of snow having fallen at the installation.
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.
Fort McCoy lives its motto, “Total Force Training Center.”
The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
