The Better Opportunities for Single Service Members Program

The BOSS program represents the voice of the single service member. If you’re a single service member, BOSS members advocate for you by advancing quality of life issues on the installation, and in the barracks, to senior leaders on post and throughout the Army. The BOSS program is based on three program pillars: quality of life, community service, and recreation and leisure.

BOSS membership and the program’s available leadership and project management roles enhance promotion packets. Learn more about BOSS and how to become a member at https://polk.armymwr.com/us/polk/programs/boss.

Family Readiness Groups

Family Readiness Groups are command-sponsored organizations of family members, volunteers, soldiers and civilian employees that together provide an avenue of mutual support and assistance within a unit. The groups also provide a network of communications among the family members, the chain of command, the chain of concern and community resources. For more information on Family Readiness Groups, visit www.jrtc-polk.army.mil/ACS/DeploymentMobilizationandReadiness.html or www.myarmyonesource.com.
