Arts and Crafts Center
The JBPHH MWR Arts and Crafts Center provides off-duty leisure time activities for active- duty military personnel, dependents, DOD personnel, retirees, their dependents and guests.
The center offers professional framing, engraving, ceramics, pottery and woodworking services. Additionally, it conducts a variety of art and craft instructional classes to both adults and youth, operates a resale art and craft supply store and a vehicle resale lot, promotes and displays base-level art and photography exhibits for JBPHH and hosts Open House events in March and December plus Craft Fair events in May and November.
Auto Skills Center

Car Washes: There are three self-wash bays, two drive-thru car washes and two coin-operated vacuums at the Hickam Car Wash and five self-serve wash bays at the Moanalua Car Wash.
Escape the crowds at Waikiki and relax on a beach located on base. Hickam Beach is the perfect spot for learning how to surf, party gatherings, beach volleyball or simply sunbathing under the tropical sun. Party pavilions are available for rent, and additional amenities include restrooms and showers. Lifeguards are stationed on the beach during the weekends, and a surf shack offers rentals of beach equipment at affordable prices. Honeymoon Beach is a private lagoon just off of Hickam Beach. This secluded area comes with a lifeguard and picnic area. An alcohol permit is available through the Hickam Harbor office, but glass containers are not allowed. Experience the serene beaches on the Leeward side of Oahu. Located at Kalaeloa, White Plains is a great spot to learn how to surf, have party gatherings, frolic in the sand and surf or just relax under the Hawaiian sun. It features showers, a volleyball court, beach access wheelchairs and patio rentals. Located down the road from White Plains across the street from the Coast Guard Station, there are seven pavilions on Nimitz Beach. There is no parking lot; all cars park along the side of the road. Located in Building 595, 990 Mills Blvd., the JBPHH Library has CDs, DVDs, audio books, video games, online resources, computers with internet, Wi-Fi, copying and fax services and, of course, books all in one location. Hickam Harbor Marina: Tucked along the back portion of Hickam is a glistening aquatic gem where sailboats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards dot the water. Visitors to Hickam Harbor can learn how to sail, stand-up paddleboard, spear fish or bottom fish, and even surf. Some mooring and dry-dock storage facilities are available, as well as personal storage lockers. Hickam Harbor is the place to be for sailing, watercraft rentals, outdoor rental locations, swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, recreation activities and tours. Rainbow Bay Marina: Nestled in Pearl Harbor, just off base near the USS Arizona Memorial, is Rainbow Bay Marina, a complete sailing facility that offers sailing lessons and rentals, canoe paddling and more. Rent a sleek Club 420, Rhodes 19 Sloop, El Toro, Laser or Columbia 22 (certification required). Mooring and dry dock storage facilities are available as well as personal storage lockers. Get out and get active exploring Oahu by land or sea. Outdoor Adventure Center, on the left side of the NEX Fleet Store, offers a wide array of activities to keep you on a path to fun and fitness. Party Equipment Rentals has essentials such as chairs, tables, canopies, water jugs and ice chests from MWR at Building 1760. Add to your event by renting a bounce house, a shave ice machine or a popcorn machine. A dunk tank can be reserved along with equipment for interactive games such as a potato sack race, a milk bottle throw and volleyball. Reservations for some items can be made six weeks in advance. Pavilion Rentals offers party patios throughout JBPHH. Sizes vary and can accommodate 10 to 200 guests as well as bounce houses and bands.

Barbers Point Beach Cottages at White Plains or Nimitz Beaches, Kalaeloa: Plan your next escape to paradise on Oahu’s west coast. Far from the city and crowded tourist spots, White Plains or Nimitz Beach — the former Barbers Point Naval Air Station — offer pristine locations to surf, picnic or enjoy a peaceful day under the sun.
