The Hill AFB Child Development Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). They accept children from six weeks to 5 years of age.

The development of the “whole” child and interaction in a social setting are extremely important aspects of the Child Development Program. Affective, social, creative, cognitive, language and physical growth are key elements In AF CDC programs. Teachers plan age-appropriate weekly curriculum plans that are developed for the individual needs and interests of each child. Classroom curriculum includes social-emotional, physical, lanquage, early literacy, early mathematics, science, technology, creative expression and appreciation of the arts, health, safety, and social studies.

The Child Development Center currently has a waiting list for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old; before entering kindergarten. Your child is eligible for enrollment if you or your spouse is military or DoD civilian, to include NAF employees assigned to Hill AFB. Applicants are accepted and placed on the waiting list based upon AFMC priority listing and date of application.

The weekly fee is based upon total family income and includes two meals and one snack each day. This also includes one brand of infant formula and jar baby foods and cereals.
