Give parents a break

Give Parents a Break is offered one weekend per month at Hill AFB. Eligible personnel include spouses of deployed or remote tour service members as well as spouses of members TDY 30 days or more. This program is sponsored by the Air Force Aid Society. Call 801-777-4681 or DSN 312-777-4681 for scheduled dates. Reservations must be made by the Wednesday before the GPAB event for priority and there must be a minimum of eight children signed up for this program for the centers to be open.

Special situation referrals may be made by commanders, first sergeants, Airman & Family Readiness Center/Family Advocacy, a medical adviser, chaplain, or CDC directors. Referrals can be made for families who are dealing with stressful situations in their lives. The scheduled weekend would still apply, as no special dates are set for referrals. A certificate from A&FRC and all proper documents are still required for referred families.
