JBER SPOUSES’ CLUB

The JBER Spouses’ Club (JBERSC) organizes activities for spouses of active-duty and retired service members and Department of Defense civilians. The club also offers membership to active-duty, Alaska National Guard and Reserve spouses, and current or retired Department of Defense civilians or their spouses. During the club year (September through May), there are monthly functions planned as well as opportunities to become involved in classes and activities. Joining the JBERSC provides chances to make lasting friendships, get involved with the community and create wonderful memories. The club hosts an annual fundraiser, The Country Fair, every November. Proceeds from this event are given back to the community as scholarships, awards and donations. Military family members who are high school seniors and current college undergraduates may apply for the scholarships, and scholarships are available to military spouses as well. Donations are given to the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson community, the Anchorage area and national military support organizations. For more information, check out www.jberspousesclub.com.
