Reasonable Accommodations Form Questions
How long will it take to get an answer on the Reasonable Accommodations form I submitted?
Lewis-McChord Communities will make every effort to respond as quickly as possible, usually within 10 days.
If my Reasonable Accommodation form is returned because of missing information, can my doctor just change the information on the same form and return it?
No. A new form must be completed.
What if my request is denied and I disagree with the decision?
You may submit a written request for an appeal within 10 business days of receipt of written notification of the denial.
I am pregnant and need to transfer to a one-story home; do I need to fill out a Request for Reasonable Accommodation or Structural Modification form?
No. Transfer fees are waived for those who have a Medically Supported Reason to transfer. However, unless priority housing has been approved by the Army/Airforce, wait list guidelines still apply to those transferring to a different neighborhood. Requests must include written communication from your medical provider (i.e. email, letterhead, prescription card etc.).
