The United States Army Noncommissioned Officers Academy located at 5518 Sever Ave., Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, is a fully accredited academy of learning which instructs noncommissioned officers from around the globe.

The mission is to conduct Noncommissioned Officer Education System and Functional Courses for America’s Army in accordance with Programs of Instruction and regulatory standards that produce highly successful NCO leaders with the warrior skills, values, traits, and actions necessary to win our Nation’s wars and defend the United States. The NCO Academy is committed to providing an environ­ment of professional conduct, outstanding leadership, high standards of appearance and discipline.

The NCOA, instructs the Warrior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course (formally the Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course), the Army Basic Instructor Course, and the Small Group Instructor Training Course to nearly 3,000 students annually. These courses leverage current technological and conventional face to face instruction to train both tactical and ­garrison related duties.
