Airman and Family Readiness
The Airman and Family Readiness Center in Building 800 offers a variety of enrichment programs. The AFRC serves as a one-stop center for information and referrals, coordinates family policy, serves as a link to community and base agencies, provides leadership consultation to commanders, and offers direct services and programs to Air Force personnel.
Some of the direct services available are financial counseling, relocation assistance, transition assistance, individual and family enrichment, spouse employment assistance, volunteer opportunities and help through the Air Force Aid Society. The AFAS provides financial help to Air Force members and their families during unforeseen emergencies. In addition to welcoming newly assigned individuals and families, the center also maintains information on other Air Force bases and a list of child care providers.
